Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) is an autonomous premier medical institution located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission.

The institute was originally established as Bangalore Medical College in 1955 and was later upgraded to include research institutes. BMCRI operates under the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Karnataka.

Our campus spans over 100 acres and includes state-of-the-art teaching facilities, advanced research laboratories, and a 2200-bed tertiary care teaching hospital that serves as a referral center for the entire state of Karnataka.

Center for Molecular Medicine: Focused on genetic research and personalized medicine.
Institute of Public Health: Conducting epidemiological studies and public health interventions.
Center for Regenerative Medicine: Research on stem cells and tissue engineering.
